Zara has been absolutely besotted with Noddy so today we took her to watch the Noddy production at The People's Theatre in Braamfontein. She was very good and sat on either my lap or Chris' lap for the entire show, which was an hour and a half long. We bought her a Noddy doll and she held on to him the whole time too. At one point it all got quite noisy and she said "big fright, Mommy, big fright". I thought it might be the end of her concentration but I just cuddled her and she settled down again. I must say that I was a bit disappointed by the "modernisation" of the show and would have preferred a truly traditional play but Zara thoroughly enjoyed it all and that's what counts. Tonight after her bath, she was still enjoying her Noddy doll and even brushed his teeth whilst I brushed hers...

You look so cute with your Noddy!!! What a good girl to sit through a whole show. Bet Daddy enjoyed the show, too! (Hard to imagine your dad actually going to a Noddy show! Cute!!!)
Tell Mama that I will be going shopping soon for some great clothes for you. I guess I'll try to get warm stuff for this and next winter...
I saw a photo recently of you wearing the sweater with the leopard-print collar...you were stylin', baby!

It is great that she sat thriough the whole production. We have wanted to take Riley but thought she would not last. The Noddy is greast too...
Best start buying some Noddy books. Tiem for Chris to start reading.
That is so cute!! She really does love Noddy, so I'm glad that she ejoyed the show. One-and-a-half hours is a lot of concentrating for a little girl, too.
