For a while now, Zara has been feeding herself...
She will have no help from any of us until the very last mouthful that is virtually impossible for her to get onto her spoon.
It started off as quite a messy affair but she has made such good progress and her "hand to mouth" co-ordination improves with every mouthful (every now and again when she is really hungry and cant quite get the food in fast enough she holds her bowl out saying"help you")

She does enjoy her food ... long may it last!
She is very accurate, especially when you consider how lon the spoon's handle is in comparison to her.
I hope you know how lucky you are. We still battle with Riley. In fact just had a 45 minute session with her trying to get her to swallow her food. She is a great "hamster" but just won't swallow. Zara on thh other hand seesm to have it all down pat.
You know... I'm fairly sure she eats more than I do!
So cute Stace - great to have such a good eater. Still battle with Cyra but no problems with Jorja - she eats like a horse. Tried to teach her to do baby five the other day and she opened her mouth coz she thought we were giving her something to eat ...
